The most useful subject

It is true that literature enriches our minds and philosophy heightens our ability to think. Most of the subjects are useful and interesting. However if I were to choose the most ‘useful’ subject, I would select literature. I have three reasons why I think so.

First, literature is useful in terms of gaining knowledge. That is, through literature we could learn about life in various times and places such as ancient China, medieval Europe, or prewar Japan. Literature teaches us about the lifestyles and values of different people.

Besides gaining knowledge, literature is useful as a communication tool. It is very interesting to talk about the novels of great authors with people including those from other cultures. I was very impressed when I learned that a foreign exchange student from South Korea had read Yosimoto Banana in Korean.

Moreover, literature is useful in order to spend a pleasant time. Indeed, life would be very boring if we had no novels read in our spare time

New Year's Day of this year

I will write about New Year's Day this year. I greeted New Year's Day with my friends this year. This is because we went to shrine in order to draw a written fortune with my friends. The fortune I drew predicted very good luck this year. After we draw a written fortune, I went back to my home.
       
My family makes it a rule to go my aunts home. A cousin and relative make it a rule to come there every New Year's Day. There were about thirty people in my aunt home this New Year's Day. When I was an elementary school student, we used to go convenience store with my sister and cousin. However, as we grow older, the custom was disappeared. I feel sad, but there have been taking over. It is a game to get a New Year’s gift. Children play game such as darts or bowling in my aunt’s home every year. This year was darts. I got about 40 thousands yen. After the game finished, we play game to get New Year’s gift including the adult. The contest of game is easy. Aunt collect 1 thousand yen from everyone and everyone draw lots. A person who draw a winning ticket get the total money. This year a person who got the total money was elementary school student. I wish I could draw a winning ticket. After the event had finished, I went back to my home.
      
As soon as I go back to my home, I have to set my goal this year. The goal I decided this year is ‘earn a lot of money by playing a part-time job to study abroad’ I wish I could the achievement of my goal. I had a great time.

The place I want to go now

I would like to go Nara, Australia, and America. When I was in elementary school, I visited Toudaiji-temple in Nara, and luckily, we were able to see the exhibition of Shousouin treasure, but I was so young that I could not understand the value of those treasures and did not watch them carefully. Probably I can appreciate them better now, so I want to go there again.
      
Next is Australia. There are a lot of beautiful places and nature. Since I was a elementary school student. I have interested in world heritage sites, especially Great Barrier Reef.Once I saw it in a book, the sight haunts is always present in mind, so I want to go to Australia to see the Great Barrier Reef. Moreover, I have never seen Kangaroo and Koalas. So I want to see these animals.
       
Finary, I will write about America. I am interested in American culture. However, I have never seen the real thing, so I want to go there to check the real thing. Moreover, America has a lot of world heritage sites and exciting places, especially I want to go Ground Canion and Yellow stone park. If I could see it, I think that I feel like changing our view of life. Since I was a junior high school student, I have studied English about for 10 years, so I go to the English-speaking world and I want to check my ability. In order to check my ability, I want to go to Australia and America. I wish I could go these places.

laughing is important

It is important for us to laugh. Even if I am in very low spirits, I am suddenly perked up by laughing. When I am sad, I make it a rule to watch TV. For example, soccer game, a comedy program, video. A comedy program makes me very happy. This is because I am able to laugh loudly by watching the comedy program. My favorite entertainer is Sanmasan. If he appears on TV, I watch the program. Moreover when I am sad, I make it a rule to talk with my best friends. This is because my best friends are a pleasant man to talk with, so my best friends make me happy and they set me laughing with their jokes. I always think that my best friends make me happy, in other words 'make me smile' I think laughing is very important.
       
Even if the person is smart and great, the person who is not laugh at all give me a bad impression. If I make a friend, I want to make a close friend who is always laughing. This is because I want to always laugh, too. A impressive experience I laughed was final soccer game. My team is very weak and winning the final game was our team goal. We practiced as hard as I could in order to achieve the goal. As the result, We were able to win the one game of the final game and our team lost the second round. However, everyone was laughing. This is because we were able to achieve the goal. To be frank, I did not win the game, so I nearly wept for joy. This everyone's smile will remain in the memory of me. Laughing is wonderful.

I thought that I eat breakfast as soon as possible and try to eat a lot of vegitable. I do not like vegitable, but I need to eat it a lot. My Birthday

I will write about the day of my birthday this year. I was celebrated by a lot of my friends on the day.

First, I was celebrated by my college friends the day before my birthday. We went to ‘kurobouzu’ to eat yakiniku. I was looking forward to going because I have never been to there. I have really taken to this restaurant because the foods were very delicious and atmosphere was great, too. I was very happy that I ate a lot of delicious foods and drunk a lot of cocktail. After I ate a lot, unexpected things occurred. My college friends gave a birthday cake to me. I was so full that I was not able to eat the cake, but I was really happy. After we went out the restaurant, We went to bowling. I was not good at bowling, but I was very interesting. We played 6 games. After the bowling, I was not able to move my hands freely. I was very tired but I had a great time with my friends.

Next, I was celebrated by my friends who are working together on the day of my birthday. We went to Italian restaurant. I have been to there twice. I ate a lot of expensive foods. After I ate a lot, the friends gave a birthday cake to me. I was very happy because I was able to eat cake for two straight days. After we went out the restaurant, We went to Karaoke. We enjoyed singing a song until next morning. I was very happy but I was very tired.

I got a lot of birthday presents. First, I got a bag to Katu and Hona as a birthday present. I was very happy because I did not think that I can get a present from my college friends this year. Second, my sister gave me a lot of money to buy a digital camera. I got an Ipod as a birthday present last year. I am too rely on my sister, so I will try to give a birthday present to my sister this year.

I got a lot of message from my local friends, college friends, family and so on. About 100 people sent a message to me. I was very happy to receive a lot of messages. I thought that all my friends are very important for me all over again.

I read 'Everyting is changing' because I prefered this title. there are a good phrases in this book. My favorite phrase is this: bad times are coming to an end and things will get better soon. I agreed with this idea. I think that even if we are in a several position, we need to continue to try our best. We must not give up with ease. If we try our best, other people may become try hard,too. I think things are getting better and better all the time. However,We need to act something in order to come true it. I dislike a people who give up easily. I want a person who is not go well in his or her life to read this book.  this book is easy to read and difficult words are not used at all.

My favorite movie

My favorite movie is ‘Water Boys’. This story impressed me deeply because there was a close bond of friendship between them. What I was fascinated by watching the story was personal consciousness. It seems to me that team sport is very difficult because all the teammates have same goals and act. However, the people who appeared in the movie were unified. After I watched the movie, I think that team sports are very difficult and hard, but if we do our best to the attainment of our goals, we can get a lot of things. I will write about GW this year. I went to Fukuoka to see my old friends and go shopping. After I took some classes on Wednesday, I went to Hakata. As soon as I arrived at Hakata station, my friends went to meet at the station. Since I graduated from high school, I was able to meet the friends.
        
First, I went to a street vendor‘s stall to eat dinner with the friends. I ate Nagahama noodle there. It is very delicious but it is too expensive at that price I thought. After I Went out there, We went to a bar. We enjoy drinking and enjoyed talking about the good old days. We spent the night drinking with a lot of old friends. The party brought back memories of our school days. We spent the night drinking with a lot of old friends.
        
Next day, I met a friend who failed his college entrance examination and was studying to take them again. It had been two years since I saw him last. I enjoyed going shopping with the friend at that day. First, We went to Tenjin Core. I was able to buy a lot of things I had wanted there. After we went out the store, We went to restaurant because we were very hungry. The foods of this restaurant were very delicious. I thought that I want to go there again. After I went out the restaurant, we went to AKB café. I was looking forward to going there because I have never been to there. As soon as I arrived there, unexpected things occurred. To my surprised, we were able to see a big name. the big name is Sinoda Mariko. I heard that she came to Fukuoka from Tokyo to work. I was very happy that I was able to see her. If I was not came to here, I might not have met her again.
         
After I went out the café shop, I parted from the friend and I went to Kitakyusyu to see my best friend.
It had been five years since I saw him last. A character of the person were not change at all. As soon as I arrived at Kitakyuusyu, We went to Karaoke. We enjoyed singing a lot of songs. After we finished karaoke, we went to his house. We enjoyed talking a lot.
